October events!

October's kids' craft is Harvest Fun! All materials are provided.

Kids! Guess the number of candy corn and be entered in a drawing for a fun collection of Halloween items! Drawing will be held on Sat., Oct. 18th.

Preschool story time will be held on Fridays  (3rd, 17th, 24th and 31st)  at 10:30.  Come join us for fun stories and coordinating activities.

Lego Fun! Monday Oct. 6th from 3:30-6:30 pm.  Bring a friend and your imagination!


     For K-4th grade: Wed. Oct. 8th at 4pm.  Spider cookies!  Make 'em and then eat 'em!

     For YA (5th grade +): Tue., Oct. 14th at 4pm.  Make a decorative mask for Halloween or just

        for fun.

Master Gardener Mary Strayer will visit on Oct. 15th at 6 pm:  Putting Your Garden to Bed: Learn all you need to prepare for winter and what to plant now for the spring!   Oct. 29th at 6pm: Easy Decorations for Fall and Winter - decorate your house inside and out!

New Family story time! Monday, Oct. 20th at 6:15 pm.  Come for fun stories and pumpkin decorating!

Movie Day~ 4:00 pm.  Oct. 22nd @ 4pm - two Halloween tales: Shrek's Thrilling Tales & Scooby Doo's Frankencreepy.

Wii fun! - Monday Oct. 27th from 3:30 - 6:30 pm.  Bring a friend and challenge them to a game!

     Through the library website, patrons of Huron County Community Libraries will have unlimited multi-user access to complete digital magazines, easily viewed on most internet-enabled devices.
