There is a new kids' craft in the children's corner - check it out!

Preschool story time will be held on Fridays  (5th, 12th &19th)  at 10:30.  Come join us for fun stories and coordinating activities.

Learn to make your own Christmas cards with Sister Rosemary Hug on Dec. 4th at 3:00pm.  In the community room!

Christmas in the Village! Saturday, Dec. 6th.  Lots of fun activities are happening all over town all day long.  See a list of happenings at the library, or at participating businesses.  The library will have a special Christmas craft available for kids, and don't miss magician Jim Kleefeld at 4:30pm in the community room with a very special family Christmas magic show!

A family story time will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 10th at 6:15pm.  Come for fun stories and activities.


      For YA (5th grade +): Mon. Nov. 15th 3:30-5pm.   Fun teen craft! 

     For K-4th grade: Wed. Nov. 17th 3:30-5pm.  Santa cookies!  Make 'em and then eat 'em!

Game Day!  Come play board and Wii games on Monday, Dec. 22nd from 3:30-6:30pm.  

Movie Day - Dec. 30th at 1:00pm.  Come see Dolphin Tale 2 (PG, 107 min.)  

The Library will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and will close at 5pm on New Year's Eve.  Happy holidays!



Don't miss Christmas in the Village! Dec. 6th ~ 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

Don't miss out!  Start at 9:00am with a visit from Santa's reindeer in the park, letters to Santa at Danielion's, a coloring contest at East of Chicago Pizza, an Ugly Sweater contest at the Masonic Hall, a Christmas movie at the Harvest Baptist church, crafts and the magic show at the library, and many more fun activities all over town!  Help the local girl scouts fill the gazebo with food for the food pantry and bring gently worn coats for the coat drive too! Be at the park at 6:00pm for the lighting of the Christmas tree, and come carolling afterward on hay wagons all over the village!   A complete list of activities is at the library, and at participating businesses.  See you there!  Merry Christmas!

     The Ohio Digital Library provides access to thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, music titles and videos and can be used on many other mobile devices, audio devices and eReaders.  All you need is your library card, and a personal computer or laptop to get started finding these great materials.

     Through the library website, patrons of Huron County Community Libraries will have unlimited multi-user access to complete digital magazines, easily viewed on most internet-enabled devices.
