Tech Help for Everyone: How Huron County Community Library Keeps Our Community Connected Technology touches nearly every part of our lives — applying for jobs, staying in touch with family, paying bills, and managing healthcare. But learning new tools and devices can be intimidating. That’s where the Huron County Community Library comes in. Every day, patrons visit our locations with questions large and small — from “How do I print this?” to “Can you help me set up my smartphone?” Our staff are always ready to lend a hand, no matter your experience level. Along with free public computers, free Wi-Fi, printing, and scanning, the library offers dedicated opportunities for one-on-one tech support. Our Tech Thursdays sessions, held every Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Willard location, giving patrons a chance to drop in and receive personalized assistance. Bring your device, your questions, and your curiosity — we’ll take the time to walk you through step by step. Can’t make it to Willard? No problem. Tech help is available at all Huron County Community Library locations by appointment. Just contact Jarrad, the IT Coordinator, at it@huroncolib.org to schedule a time that works for you. Whether you’re learning to use a new phone, exploring email or social media, organizing photos, or simply trying to stay safe online, we’re here to help. There’s no rush, no pressure, and no such thing as a silly question. At Huron County Community Library, we believe technology should bring people together — not leave anyone behind. When someone learns to video chat with a grandchild, fill out an online form, or apply for a new job, it’s more than a tech skill; it’s a bridge to opportunity and connection. Stop by your local location or reach out today to see how we can help you stay connected in the digital world — one click at a time. by Jarrad Awwiller, Information Technologies Coordinator DEC 2025 - JAN 2026 All HCCL locations will be closed Dec 24, Dec 25, Jan 1, and Jan 19 HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS THURS, DEC 11 5:30-7PM Free Hot chocolate Live music Trivia with Mrs. Claus Ornaments
