Online Catalog and Circulation System
The Extension Library District of Huron County [ELDHC] as well as many other Ohio Libraries, has transitioned to a new automated library system. The system is called Symphony. It provides:
- An easier way for patrons to search for items.
- Advanced features for staff -- ultimately providing a better system for you.
Thank you for your patience as we grow to serve you better!
Website for Unemployed Ohioans
In an effort to reach out to those former unemployment recipients, and help them learn about all the services that may be available to them, Ohio is pleased to announce a new Web site: Ohio Here to Help, or www.ohioheretohelp.com . Ohio Here to Help is a one-stop source of information for Ohio’s unemployed workers and their families, and is unique in that it can quickly connect visitors to a wide range of information and resources - from both public and private entities - that can help them search for a job, find education and training opportunities, and learn about other supports that can help them get through this difficult time.
Overdue Item ALERT!
A reminder that library users who return overdue items with an accumulated overdue fee of $25 or more have two weeks to pay, or make arrangements to pay, the fee before their account is automatically sent to Unique Management by the library’s computer system for collection.
