January events!

Do you want to build a snowman? New kids' craft - make an edible snowman all month long!

New!  Family Book Club!  Each month a new book will be announced.  Pick up your copy, share it together, and discuss over dinner.  Throughout the month the library will provide activities, crafts, recipes and discussion topics related to the story.  This month's book is Paddington Bear by MIchael Bond.

Winter Reading Program - for children and adults! Begins Jan. 5th and runs through Feb. 14th.  Programs and prizes for ages 5-adults.

New! Cookbook club - stop in, pick up the monthly selection.  Take it home and try some new recipes, then pick your favorite. Make it and bring it to our first meeting on Feb. 2nd.  Learn new cooking skills, make new friends, and enjoy the tasting too!  Our first title is Six Sisters Stuff, a collection of recipes, crafts and more by the Six Sisters.

Lego Challenge! Wed. Jan. 21st at 3:45pm.  Bring your imagination!

Movie day!  Fri., Jan. 30th at 1:30 pm.  Come see The Boxtrolls.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten - sign up your child at the library! Sounds daunting, but it's an easy goal to reach - just reading 3 books a day, you can reach your goal in only one year!  See the library staff for details on this very important literacy head start.

Sit 'n Stitch on Mondays from 10-12.  Bring your knitting, crochet, quilting, whatever you're working on!  Share ideas and skills, and make new friends too!  Not instructor led.

Preschool story time - Fridays at 11:00 am, Jan. 9th, 16th & 30th.  Come for fun stories and coordinating activities.

The Library will be closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

New library hours!  Monday 10-7, Tue., Wed., Thur., 10-5 and Fri. 9-5.  Closed Sat. & Sun.
