March events!

New kids' craft - make a St. Paddy's Day shamrock!  All materials provided.

New! Cookbook club - stop in, pick up the monthly selection.  Take it home and try some new recipes, then pick your favorite. Make it and bring it to our next meeting on April at noon.  Learn new cooking skills, make new friends, and enjoy the tasting too!  This month's title is The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond.

Andrea Lepley of Edward Jones Financial will visit on Monday, March 16th at 6:00pm with a program for women, Take Control of Your Financial Future: Master Five Money Questions for Women.  Learn how to achieve a strong financial strategy that fits your lifestyle.  Sign up at the library, or just come that evening.

Game Day will be held on Wed. March 18th at 3:00 pm.  Bring a friend!

Lego Challenge! Wed. March 25th at 3:45pm.  Bring your imagination!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten - sign up your child at the library! Sounds daunting, but it's an easy goal to reach - just reading 3 books a day, you can reach your goal in only one year!  See the library staff for details on this very important literacy head start.

Sit 'n Stitch on Mondays from 10-12.  Bring your knitting, crochet, quilting, whatever you're working on!  Share ideas and skills, and make new friends too!  Not instructor led.

Preschool story time - Fridays at 11:00 am, March 13th, 20th & 27th.  Come for fun stories and coordinating activities.




The Electronic Library

     The Ohio Digital Library provides access to thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, music titles and videos and can be used on many other mobile devices, audio devices and eReaders.  All you need is your library card, and a personal computer or laptop to get started finding these great materials.

     Huron County Community Library in partnership with RBdigital from Recorded Books (Prince Frederick, MD), is pleased to announce the availability of Zinio for Libraries, the world's largest newsstand.

     Through the library website, patrons of Huron County Community Libraries will have unlimited multi-user access to complete digital magazines, easily viewed on most internet-enabled devices.
