December events!

The Kids' craft for December is a Christmas cracker!  All materials are provided.

New!  Family Book Club!  Each month a new book will be announced.  Pick up your copy, share it together, and discuss over dinner.  Throughout the month the library will provide activities, crafts, recipes and discussion topics related to the story.  This month's book is Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren.

Movie day!  Wed., Dec. 10th at 3:30 pm.  Come see Alpha and Omega 2: A Howliday Adventure.

Lego Challenge! Wed. Dec. 17th at 3:45pm.  Bring your imagination!

Christmas in the library! Monday, Dec. 22 from 1-5pm.  Join us for a day of Christmas cheer beginning at 1:00 for magician Jim Kleefeld's family Christmas magic show!  Then stay for crafts, family bingo (with prizes!) and cookie decorating.  Finish up the holiday fun with an interactive showing of the movie Elf at 3:00pm.  Don't miss out!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten - sign up your child at the library! Sounds daunting, but it's an easy goal to reach - just reading 3 books a day, you can reach your goal in only one year!  See the library staff for details on this very important literacy head start.

Sit 'n Stitch on Mondays from 10-12.  Bring your knitting, crochet, quilting, whatever you're working on!  Share ideas and skills, and make new friends too!  Not instructor led.

Preschool story time - Fridays at 11:00, Dec. 5th, 12th & 19th.  Come for fun stories and coordinating activities.

The Library will be closed on Christmas eve and Christmas day.

New library hours!  Monday 10-7, Tue., Wed., Thur., 10-5 and Fri. 9-5.  Closed Sat. & Sun.
